The purpose of this project is to study and design the rehabilitation works for 19 No. roads in Ramallah, Qaliqilia & Salfeet Districts consisting of the following categories and components which are detailed as follows:
Regional Road:
This group consists of (2 roads of total length 10 kms): The works include the rehabilitation and upgrading of existing roads, linking main roads and serving several communities .These roads will be designed to be two lane (at least 6.0 m wide) asphalt facilities with 2.0m base course shoulder each side.
Access Road:
This group consists of (11 roads of total Length 44 kms): The works include the rehabilitation and upgrading of existing roads, linking villages to main or regional roads. These roads will be designed to be 2- lane (5.5m wide) asphalt facilities with proper shoulders.
Dirt Road:
This group consists of (6 roads of total length 24.50 kms). The work include the widening and Upgrading of existing dirt roads. Those roads will be designed to be 2- lane (5.5m wide) asphalt facilities with proper shoulders.
